AN ACT to amend chapter 372 of the laws of  2008,  amending  the  parks,
  recreation  and historic preservation law relating to establishing the
  Niagara Falls underground railroad heritage commission, in relation to
  the effectiveness thereof

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Section 3 of chapter 372 of the laws of 2008, amending the
parks, recreation and historic preservation law relating to establishing
the Niagara Falls underground railroad heritage commission,  as  amended
by chapter 49 of the laws of 2013, is amended to read as follows:
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that section two
of  this  act shall expire and be deemed repealed on December 31, [2015]
2017.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
