PAULIN -- read once and referred to the Committee on Judiciary AN ACT to amend the domestic relations law, in relation to persons who may solemnize marriages THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 11 of the domestic relations law is amended by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows: 2-A. A MEMBER OF THE NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATURE, PROVIDED THAT SUCH PERSON SHALL NOT CHARGE OR RECEIVE A FEE. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15457-01-8
