S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10961 I N A S S E M B L Y May 29, 2018 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. ABINANTI -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to the residen- tial parking permit system in the village of Tarrytown THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 1640-f of the vehicle and traffic law, as amended by chapter 419 of the laws of 1999, is amended to read as follows: 2. Such residential parking permit system may only be established within the Miller Park neighborhood of the village of Tarrytown which shall mean that area generally bounded on the easterly side by South Broadway; on the northerly side by Franklin Street; on the westerly side by Franklin Courts and the Metro-North Commuter Railroad tracks; and on the southerly side by Church Street. The residential parking permit system shall also apply on Hamilton Place, White Street, Cottage Place, Wildey Street to Washington Street, Mechanics Avenue, Linden Place, Wood Court, Hanford Place, Central Avenue to Washington Street, Windle Park [and], Storm Street AND ON THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF MAIN STREET FOR THE UN-METERED PARKING SPACES BETWEEN WHITE STREET AND WINDLE PARK. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. Effective immediately the addition, amendment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implementation of this act on its effective date are authorized to be made on or before such date.
