 AN  ACT  to  amend  the public authorities law, in relation to reporting
   requirements for resource sharing between the power authority  of  the
   state  of  New  York,  the  department of transportation and the canal
   corporation

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section 1005-d of the public authorities law, as added by
 part LL of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the  public  authori-
 ties law and the public officers law, relating to the sharing of employ-
 ees,  services  and resources by the power authority of the state of New
 York, canal corporation and department of transportation, as proposed in
 legislative bill numbers S. 2008-c and A. 3008-c, is amended by adding a
 new subdivision 12 to read as follows:
   12. THE AUTHORITY SHALL PREPARE AND SUBMIT TO THE GOVERNOR, THE TEMPO-
 RARY PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE, THE SPEAKER OF THE ASSEMBLY, THE  ATTORNEY
 GENERAL,  AND  THE COMPTROLLER ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF FEBRUARY OF
 EACH YEAR, A REPORT DETAILING EACH SPECIFIC INSTANCE OF RESOURCE SHARING
 BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT, THE AUTHORITY, AND THE CANAL CORPORATION  UNDER-
 TAKEN PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION DURING THE PRECEDING CALENDAR YEAR.
   §  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
 manner as part LL of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the  public
 authorities  law and the public officers law, in relating to the sharing
 of employees, services and resources by the power authority of the state
 of New York, canal corporation  and  department  of  transportation,  as
 proposed  in  legislative  bill  numbers  S. 2008-c and A. 3008-c, takes
 effect.
