 Introduced  by  Sen. KRUEGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
   and Commissions
 
 AN ACT to dissolve the United Charities, a nonprofit corporation
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. The United Charities, a nonprofit corporation  incorporated
 by  chapter  159 of the laws of 1892, which chapter was entitled "An Act
 to incorporate the United Charities of the city of New York," having  in
 the  year  2014  obtained approval from the New York State Office of the
 Attorney General and the Supreme Court of  the  State  of  New  York  to
 alienate its sole asset, the United Charities Building, and in that year
 having alienated said asset and ceased operations, is hereby dissolved.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
