BILL NUMBER: S6431 SPONSOR: KRUEGER TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the public authorities law, in relation to authorizing the dormitory authority to provide financing to the Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association (dba 92nd Street Y) PURPOSE: To enable the The Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association (dba 92nd Street Y, of Manhattan,to receive financing from the Dormitory Authority of NY. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 and 2 amend § 1676 and § 1680 of the public authorities law respectively to authorize the 92nd Street Y, to partake in funding programs from the dormitory authority. Section 3 is the effective date.

QUART -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to authorizing the dormitory authority to provide financing to the Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association (dba 92nd Street Y) THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 1676 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows: THE YOUNG MEN'S AND YOUNG WOMEN'S HEBREW ASSOCIATION (DBA 92ND STREET Y) § 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows: THE YOUNG MEN'S AND YOUNG WOMEN'S HEBREW ASSOCIATION (DBA 92ND STREET Y) § 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13066-01-9
