 AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
   prohibiting the use of glyphosate on state property
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 33-1301 of the environmental  conservation  law  is
 amended by adding a new subdivision 13 to read as follows:
   13.  FOR  ANY  STATE DEPARTMENT, AGENCY, PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION OR
 ANY PESTICIDE APPLICATOR EMPLOYED THEREBY AS A CONTRACTOR OR SUBCONTRAC-
 TOR TO APPLY GLYPHOSATE ON STATE PROPERTY.
   § 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2021.

 Introduced  by Sens. SERRANO, HOYLMAN -- read twice and ordered printed,
   and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules  --  recom-
   mitted  to  the  Committee on Environmental Conservation in accordance
   with Senate Rule 6, sec. 8  --  committee  discharged,  bill  amended,
   ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee

 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  environmental  conservation law, in relation to
   prohibiting the use of glyphosate on state property
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  33-1301 of the environmental conservation law is
 amended by adding a new subdivision 12 to read as follows:
   12. FOR ANY STATE DEPARTMENT, AGENCY, PUBLIC  BENEFIT  CORPORATION  OR
 ANY PESTICIDE APPLICATOR EMPLOYED THEREBY AS A CONTRACTOR OR SUBCONTRAC-
 TOR TO APPLY GLYPHOSATE ON STATE PROPERTY.
   §  2.  This act shall take effect December 31, 2021 and shall apply to
