BILL NUMBER: S7195 SPONSOR: KRUEGER TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend a chapter of the laws of 2019, amending the business corporation law relating to enacting the "women on corporate boards study", as proposed in legislative bill numbers S. 4278 and A. 6330, in relation to the effectiveness thereof PURPOSE: This is a chapter amendment that makes changes to provisions of L.2019, c.747. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: This legislation amends the underlying chapter by adding language to ensure Roosevelt Island operating corporation in the new statute is a continuation of the Roosevelt Island operating corporation, as it was constituted preceding the effective date of the underlying chapter.

KRUEGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2019, amending the business corporation law relating to enacting the "women on corporate boards study", as proposed in legislative bill numbers S. 4278 and A. 6330, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of a chapter of the laws of 2019, amending the business corporation law relating to enacting the "women on corporate boards study", as proposed in legislative bill numbers S. 4278 and A. 6330, is amended to read as follows: § 4. This act shall take effect on the [thirtieth] ONE HUNDRED EIGHT- IETH day after it shall have become a law. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD06312-02-0
