S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10280 I N A S S E M B L Y May 13, 2022 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Stern) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT in relation to establishing a Caumsett State Park fire readiness study THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The office of fire prevention and control and the depart- ment of parks, recreation and historic preservation shall conduct a study to evaluate the adequacy and coverage of fire services within the Caumsett State Park, including, but not limited to, accessing the state park during emergencies. § 2. The office of fire prevention and control shall submit its find- ings to the governor, temporary president of the senate and speaker of the assembly within one year of the effective date of this act. § 3.
