   referred to the Committee on Transportation
 
 AN  ACT  to amend chapter 3 of the laws of 2020 relating to establishing
   the stretch limousine passenger safety  task  force,  in  relation  to
   extending the date the final report shall be issued and in relation to
   extending the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Subdivision 8 of section 1 and section 2 of  chapter  3  of
 the laws of 2020, relating to establishing the stretch limousine passen-
 ger safety task force, are amended to read as follows:
   8. The task force shall, on or before November 1, [2021] 2022, issue a
 final  report  and recommendations to the governor, the temporary presi-
 dent of the senate, and the speaker of the assembly.
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
 have become a law and shall expire and be deemed repealed May 31, [2022]
 2023.
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
 have been in full force and effect on and after November 1, 2021.
