FAHY, WOERNER, McDONALD -- read once and referred to the Committee on Economic Development AN ACT to amend chapter 238 of the laws of 2021 relating to permitting the use of municipal space for outdoor dining, in relation to extend- ing the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 7 of chapter 238 of the laws of 2021 relating to permitting the use of municipal space for outdoor dining, as renumbered by chapter 165 of the laws of 2022, is amended to read as follows: § 7. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed [one year] TWO YEARS after it shall have become a law. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15264-01-2
