Prohibits an administrator employed through an individual contract with a school district or the state university of New York from receiving any additional payout, bonus renumeration, or benefits, including paid leaves or guaranteed faculty positions, upon the termination of such contract.

 Introduced  by Sen. MARTUCCI -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Education
 
 AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  prohibiting  certain
   payments and benefits made to administrators
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 115 to
 read as follows:
   § 115. TERMINATION PAYMENTS TO CONTRACTED  ADMINISTRATORS  PROHIBITED.
 NO  ADMINISTRATOR  EMPLOYED THROUGH AN INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT WITH A SCHOOL
 DISTRICT OR THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK  SHALL  RECEIVE  ANY  ADDI-
 TIONAL PAYOUT, BONUS RENUMERATION, OR BENEFITS, INCLUDING PAID LEAVES OR
 GUARANTEED FACULTY POSITIONS, UPON THE TERMINATION OF SUCH CONTRACT.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
