BILL NUMBER: S8568 SPONSOR: SAVINO TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend chapter 730 of the laws of 2019, amending the executive law relating to the authority of the New York black car operators' inju- ry compensation fund, inc., in relation to the effectiveness thereof PURPOSE: Provides a three year extender to certain provisions and benefits of the black car fund, specifically vision and telemedicine benefits SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Amends Section 2 of chapter 730 of the laws of 2019 as amended by Chap- ter 64 of the laws of 2020 to extend these provisions for an additional three years EXISTING LAW:

SAVINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend chapter 730 of the laws of 2019, amending the executive law relating to the authority of the New York black car operators' injury compensation fund, inc., in relation to the effectiveness ther- eof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 730 of the laws of 2019, amending the executive law relating to the authority of the New York black car opera- tors' injury compensation fund, inc., as amended by chapter 64 of the laws of 2020, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed [three] SIX years after such date. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15006-01-2
