BILL NUMBER: S9083 SPONSOR: HINCHEY TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend chapter 463 of the laws of 2000 relating to authorizing the village of Saugerties to lease the waterfront park land and convey a right of way to the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc., in relation to the number and description of courses in the right of way easement PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To make a correction to Chapter 463 of 2000. that will fully close the metes and bounds for this parcel. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section one adds a 7th course that fully encloses the metes and bounds for this parcel. Section two establishes the effective date.

HINCHEY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government AN ACT to amend chapter 463 of the laws of 2000 relating to authorizing the village of Saugerties to lease the waterfront park land and convey a right of way to the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc., in relation to the number and description of courses in the right of way easement THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 463 of the laws of 2000 relating to authorizing the village of Saugerties to lease the waterfront park land and convey a right of way to the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc., is amended to read as follows: § 3. The easement over park lands authorized by section one of this act, is bounded and described as follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the village of Saugerties; County of Ulster, State of New York, and said parcel being more partic- ularly bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of a public road known as East Bridge Street, said point also being at the centerline of the here- in described 16' (feet) wide right-of-way and on the Southerly line of lands now or formerly of the Village of Saugerties (Saugerties Water- front Park), and S71°20'42"E 13.40' (feet) from the Southeast corner of lands now or formerly of East Bridge Street Associates, L.P.; and running thence, through the lands of aforesaid Village of Saugerties, the following [six (6)] SEVEN (7) courses: (1) N19°16'39"E 165.16'(feet) to a point, (2) On a curve to the right having a radius of 50'(feet), an arc length of 17.38'(feet) and a chord of N29°14'10"E 17.29'(feet) to a point, (3) N39°11'41"E 44.53'(feet) to a point, (4) On a curve to the left having a radius of 50'(feet), an arc length of 21.49'(feet) and a chord of N26°52'45"E 21.33'(feet) to a point, (5) N14°33'49"E 29.31'(feet) to a point, EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
