BILL NUMBER: S9385 SPONSOR: KAVANAGH TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to an exemption for certain property from the prohibition of alcohol sales within a certain distance from a school PURPOSE: To amend the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law enabling a restaurant located within two-hundred feet of a school to be eligible for a liquor license from the NYS Liquor Authority. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: This bill amends subdivision 7 of section 64 of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law by adding a new paragraph (e-14) to allow space located at 111 and 115 Broadway in lower Manhattan to be eligible for a liquor license.
