 AN ACT to amend chapter 375 of the laws of 1999, amending the real prop-
   erty actions and proceedings law relating to new owners  of  buildings
   for  which  administrators have been appointed pursuant to article 7-A
   of such law, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 375 of the laws of 1999, amending the
 real property actions and proceedings law  relating  to  new  owners  of
 buildings for which administrators have been appointed pursuant to arti-
 cle  7-A  of such law, as amended by chapter 180 of the laws of 2021, is
 amended to read as follows:
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect
 until June 30, [2024] 2027, when upon such date the provisions  of  this
 act shall expire and be deemed repealed.
   §  2.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
 if this act shall have become a law after June 30, 2024, then  this  act
 shall  take  effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full
 force and effect on and after June 30, 2024.
