It is very unfortunate that these special needs students that turned 21 have no where to go. Day habs understaffed and not accepting any placements for years. Thai bill was offered to other students turning 21 during covid but how were the younger students less affected. My daughter is 21 and graduated a few weeks ago and now has no where to go. She is disabled non verbal and non ambulatory and needs assistance with everything. We worked hard to get this bill reinstated and it was assigned a new bill number and thats as far as it went? Furthermore that gave us hope but now to find out the bill is practically non existent and feel is being ignored because these students are not important enough. Very sad
