   tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions
 
 AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter 154 of the laws of 1921 relating to the port
   authority of New York and New Jersey, in relation to  toll  reimburse-
   ment  for  all represented and non-represented persons employed by the
   port authority of New York and New Jersey

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  1 of chapter 154 of the laws of 1921 relating to
 the port authority of New York and New Jersey is amended by adding a new
 article XXIII to read as follows:
                               ARTICLE XXIII
                            TOLL REIMBURSEMENT
   1. THE FOLLOWING TERMS SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING MEANINGS:
   (A) "PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY EMPLOYEE" SHALL INCLUDE
 EVERY PERSON, BY WHATSOEVER TITLE, DESCRIPTION OR DESIGNATION KNOWN, WHO
 RECEIVES ANY PAY, SALARY OR COMPENSATION  OF  ANY  KIND  FROM  THE  PORT
 AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY.
   (B) "PORT AUTHORITY PORT DISTRICT" IS THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA WITHIN THE
 TWENTY-FIVE  MILE  RADIUS  OF  THE  STATUE OF LIBERTY NATIONAL MONUMENT,
 ENCOMPASSING A TOTAL OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED SQUARE MILES.
   2. DURING COMMUTATION TO AND FROM A WORK ASSIGNMENT  WITHIN  THE  PORT
 AUTHORITY PORT DISTRICT, EVERY PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY
 EMPLOYEE,  BOTH  REPRESENTED AND NON-REPRESENTED SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR
 MANDATORY TOLL CHARGES INCURRED WHILE ENTERING AND TRAVELING WITHIN  THE
 PORT AUTHORITY PORT DISTRICT.
   3.  PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY EMPLOYEES SHALL BE ENTI-
 TLED TO NON-REVENUE E-ZPASS OR A SUCCESSOR DEVICE EXCLUSIVELY FOR COMMU-
 TATION ONLY. UNLESS OTHERWISE DEFINED IN  A  REPRESENTED  MEMORANDUM  OF
 AGREEMENT  WITH  THE  PORT  AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY. A PORT
 AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY EMPLOYEE  SHALL  SURRENDER  E-ZPASS
 UPON RETIREMENT, RESIGNATION OR TERMINATION.
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect upon the enactment into law by the
 state of New Jersey of legislation having an identical effect with  this
