 AN ACT to amend the civil rights law, in relation to the right to breast
   feed
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Section 79-e of the civil rights law, as added by chapter
 98 of the laws of 1994, is amended to read as follows:
   § 79-e. Right to breast feed. Notwithstanding any other  provision  of
 law, a [mother] PERSON may breast feed [her] THEIR baby in any location,
 public  or private, where the [mother] PERSON is otherwise authorized to
 be, irrespective of whether or not the nipple of the [mother's] PERSON'S
 breast is covered during or incidental to the breast feeding.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
