 AN ACT to amend chapter 837 of the laws of 2022, amending the real prop-
   erty  actions  and  proceedings  law  relating  to authorizing special
   proceedings to convey title to  abandoned  commercial  and  industrial
   real  property  to a city, town, or village, in relation to the effec-
   tiveness thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 837 of the laws of 2022, amending the
 real property  actions  and  proceedings  law  relating  to  authorizing
 special  proceedings  to convey title to abandoned commercial and indus-
 trial real property to a city, town, or village, is amended to  read  as
 follows:
   §  2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire June 30,
 [2025] 2028, when upon such date the provisions of  this  act  shall  be
 deemed repealed.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
