 AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  updating  the  defi-
   nition of cyberbullying in the dignity for all students act
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subdivision 8 of section 11 of the education law, as  added
 by chapter 102 of the laws of 2012, is amended to read as follows:
   8.  "Cyberbullying"  shall  mean  harassment or bullying as defined in
 subdivision seven of this section, including paragraphs  (a),  (b),  (c)
 and  (d)  of  such subdivision, where such harassment or bullying occurs
 through any form  of  electronic  communication.  "CYBERBULLYING"  SHALL
 INCLUDE,  BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, INTENTIONALLY USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLI-
 GENCE TO MIMIC OR ALTER A  PERSON'S  LIKENESS  OR  VOICE  WITHOUT  THEIR
 CONSENT.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
