 Introduced  by  Sen.  CANZONERI-FITZPATRICK  --  read  twice and ordered
   printed, and when printed to be committed to the  Committee  on  Local

 AN  ACT  to  amend chapter 821 of the laws of 1970 amending the town law
   relating to payment in lieu of taxes for property acquired for park or
   recreational purposes by the town of Hempstead,  in  relation  to  the
   term of effectiveness of such chapter
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 821 of the laws of 1970  amending  the
 town  law relating to payment in lieu of taxes for property acquired for
 park or recreational purposes by the town of Hempstead,  as  amended  by
 section  1  of item V of subpart B of part XXX of chapter 58 of the laws
 of 2020, is amended to read as follows:
   § 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1970 but  shall  be  operative
 only to and including June 30, [2025] 2027.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
