 Introduced  by  Sen.  CANZONERI-FITZPATRICK  --  read  twice and ordered
   printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
 AN ACT to amend to amend chapter 846 of the laws of 1970,  amending  the
   county  law relating to payment in lieu of taxes for property acquired
   for park or recreational purposes, in relation to extending  the  term
   of effectiveness of such chapter
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 846 of the laws of 1970, amending  the
 county  law  relating  to payment in lieu of taxes for property acquired
 for park or recreational purposes, as amended by section 1 of item U  of
 subpart  B  of part XXX of chapter 58 of the laws of 2020, is amended to
 read as follows:
   § 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1970 but  shall  be  operative
 only to and including June 30, [2025] 2030.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
