   printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern-
   ment Operations
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 283 of the laws of 2023, amending  the  tax  law
   relating  to  authorizing  the  town of Cornwall to impose a hotel and
   motel tax, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 283 of the laws of 2023, amending the
 tax law relating to authorizing the town of Cornwall to impose  a  hotel
 and motel tax, is amended to read as follows:
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed [3] 6 years after such date.
