This Memorial Day weekend, Senator Martins took part in commemoration services in New Hyde Park. While Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer, during which there are barbecues and family outings, more importantly, it is a time to say thank you to the veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom and way of life.
