Senator Jack M. Martins attended the opening of Harbor Child Care, which will occupy the first floor of the Willis Avenue School in Mineola. The Willis Avenue School is Harbor Child Care's seventh location.  The education curriculum is based on the High Scope Cognitive Development Program which is a 40 year research based curriculum generally regard as a leading early childhood educational approach.
