On Wednesday, November 13th, Senator Stewart-Cousins participated in "The First Year Experience" roundtable discussion along with other female legislators including Greenburgh Town Clerk Judith Beville and Westchester County Legislators Virginia Perez (District 17), Maryjane Shimsky (District 12), and Alfreda Williams (District 8), held at the Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY. At the discussion, the Senator talked about what her experience has been like as a public servant since she was first elected into office.
