Senator Jack M. Maritns and Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano sponsored the Senior I.D. Program at the Port Washington Library. The program involves making identification cards for seniors free of charge that come in handy. They contain valuable information as well as a photo. Joining Senator Martins and County Executive Mangano were Town of North Hempstead Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio and Town of North Hempstead Clerk Leslie Gross.
Senator Martins thanks the Port Washington Library for hosting. The program was enormously successful and Senator Martins is in the process of planning additional events so that communities can take advantage of this service. Watch for details.
