Senator Jack M. Martins (on right) recently attended the New York State Senate’s 3rd Annual Unidad Latina Conference with the New York State Hispanic Federation. The event, held in New York City in conjunction with National Hispanic Heritage Month, brings together hundreds of community, business and government leaders at a two-day conference designed to strengthen partnerships and increase economic opportunities for the growing Hispanic community in New York State, and at the same time, honors the rich histories, cultures and contributions of our state’s Hispanic American citizens.
