To continue her efforts in the fight against hunger, Senator Stewart-Cousins, along with Assemblymembers Shelley Mayer and Gary Pretlow, took part in Greenway ShopRite's "Help Bag Food for Hunger" Event on Wednesday, September 17th, during National Hunger Awareness Month. This year’s ShopRite Partners In Caring contest issued a new challenge to ShopRite associates – to raise an unprecedented $1.5 million to support food banks in the communities ShopRite serves.
