Senator Stewart-Cousins Recognizing Edie Windsor, Marriage Equality Pioneer

(Yonkers - September 18th) Senator Stewart-Cousins was pleased to be able to personally recognize marriage equality pioneer Edie Windsor at an event sponsored by the Westchester Jewish Community Services Center Lane, the only LGBTQ Youth and Community Education Center in Westchester County. The Senator said, "Edie is an inspiration for both young and old alike for fighting for equal rights and the historic Supreme Court decision that has set a benchmark for other court decisions that have followed."
