Senator Jack M. Martins, who chairs the Senate Standing Committee on Local Government, addressed the New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM) in Albany on the Governor's proposed budget and how it would impact local governments. As a former mayor, Senator Martins was able to discuss with the mayors from villages throughout the state the issues that are affecting local governments and how some of the Governor's proposals may affect local budgets.
