Albany, NY—Senator Toby Ann Stavisky (D-Flushing) honored Vallo Transportation for their outstanding work to raise awareness about bullying.

The Whitestone-based transportation company has designated their buses as “No Bullying Zones.” As part of the initiative, employees undergo extensive training on how to identify bullying behavior, how to appropriately intervene, and how to create a supportive school bus climate. Students are also asked to sign a pledge to respect their classmates, be kind and not bully others, and to speak up and help a classmate if they are being bullied.
