JCC on the Hudson Groundbreaking Ceremony

(Tarrytown - October 8th) A gorgeous day for a momentous event on Thursday, October 8th, when the JCC on the Hudson broke ground on their new $14 million community center. Senator Stewart-Cousins has long been a supporter of this vital resource in our community. She was proud to help the process along through the years with a $100,000 state grant in 2009 for the design phase. The new building will bear the names of Harold & Elaine Shames, pictured to the right of the Senator.
