(Yonkers - September 16th) The Senator celebrated the opening of a new scientific research lab at the Sarah Lawrence College Center for the Urban River at Beczak on Alexander Street in Yonkers. They'll be studying the Hudson and Saw Mill Rivers. Local middle and high school students will be participating, along with college students, scientists and researchers. The more we know about our local rivers, the better we are able to protect them and the watersheds surrounding them.
