Senator Comrie teamed up with AgeWell New York to celebrate hundreds of Southeast Queens Seniors and honor their contributions to the community at a special luncheon held earlier this month. The luncheon, which took place on the first day of Southeast Queens’ ‘Senior Appreciation Month,’ is part of an series of festivities hosted by local elected officials in the area. The event featured DJ Tam Jams and wellness presentations organized by AgeWell, the Parker Institute and Elizabeth Madison Nutrition. Representatives from the Attorney General’s office and IDNYC shared information about resources available to seniors.
