Statement from State Senator Gustavo Rivera On The Passing of Former Community Board 7 District Manager Andrew Sandler

“I am profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of former Community Board 7 District Manager, Andrew Sandler. Andrew was an amazingly passionate and bright young man who I came to know fairly well as we worked together to improve our beloved borough. 

Andrew's work demonstrated his undeniable commitment to improving the lives of his neighbors in the Bronx. Our community was made better because of him, and he will sorely be missed. I want to express my deepest condolences to his beloved family, friends and colleagues.”
