“On 9/11 we remember that 17 years ago, 2,977 innocent lives were taken by terrorists. Each year we read their names because we must never forget. As we look at these tragic events, we find solace in the bravery of our men and women in uniform that day, the civilian heroes, and the resiliency and unity of New York and our nation.”
