Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick and Green Acres Mall Donate to Hewlett House in Recognition of Women's History Month

Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick with Geri Barish of Hewlett House and Jill Bromberg of Green Acres Mall
As a cancer survivor herself, Geri’s work through Hewlett House has been a lifeline for women battling cancer at every stage.

When Green Acres Mall approached my office for a Women’s History Month donation to a woman-run organization, we considered many deserving candidates. My sincerest thank you to Hewlett House, led by the remarkable Geri Barish, for their contributions to our community. As a cancer survivor herself, Geri’s work has been a lifeline for women battling cancer at every stage. Hewlett House provides free services and supports cancer patients in need. Because of the work that Geri does through Hewlett House, women - as well as their families and children - never have to suffer through a diagnosis and treatment alone. I am incredibly proud to help support this cause in any way I can.
