Monroe County has some of the highest rates of domestic violence in New York State–that’s why I secured a critical investment in the Family Justice Center to break the stigma and make sure survivors know they can access support and safety for themselves and their loved ones. Too often, survivors of domestic violence face barriers to accessing crisis counselors, housing support, and other resources to heal and thrive. It was an honor to secure funding for the Family Justice Center to help survivors feel safe, supported, and empowered.
