Senator Salazar joined tenants in Brooklyn, NY to demand state leaders pass universal rent control legislation aimed at protecting tenants across New York State.   Senator Julia Salazar has introduced the "Good Cause" Eviction bill, which would prohibit landlords from evicting tenants without a valid reason such as non-payment of rent or property damage.
