Senator Chan Is Recognized For Contributions to Asian-American Community

New York's Appellate Division, Second Department recently held its third annual Hon. Randall T. Eng Award Program, a recognition of contributions by the Asian-American community, both in and out of the courts.
The program gave awards to three people during a lunchtime ceremony on May 14.
Lastly, the program also awarded first-year legislator, state Sen. Stephen T. Chan of Brooklyn. Chan is the state's first Asian-American Republican to win election to the Senate.
The program coincides with Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, and acknowledged the trio for their "hard work, integrity, and exemplary public service."
