About 300 students joined forces for Paints & Rec's grand reveal of its summer mural project at the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center.

The event also recognized the nonprofit's junior counselors, who received New York State Senate Empire Awards from state Sen. Pam Helming.

Paints & Rec is a local nonprofit that has worked to empower young people through the creation of community murals since 2023.
