Senator Jack M. Martins recently attended the opening day festivities for the Westbury Amateur Baseball Association. Senator Martins even had the opportunity to throw out the first ball along with Westbury Mayor Peter Cavallaro and Town Councilman Robert Troiano.

"You know spring is here when it's time to play baseball. I wish all of the players, parents and coaches and great year. Be safe and show good sportsmanship," said Senator Martins.
