Heading into the Winter season, it’s important to get vaccinated against the flu. In order to provide a convenient way for residents to receive their flu shots, Senator Jack M. Martins sponsored a flu shot program at the Port Washington Library.
Senator Martins partnered with CVS Pharmacy, which provided the vaccine at no cost out-of-pocket costs to the residents. A total of 70 flu shots were given out.
“I want to thank the Port Washington Library for allowing us to hold our flu shot program. I also want to thank CVS for providing the vaccine and the volunteers for giving up their time to administer the shots. I hope everyone has a healthy and safe Fall and Winter season,” Senator Martins said.
