JAMAICA, NY - New York State Senator James Sanders Jr. announced today that he will host a jobs fair for the 10th Senatorial community on Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 3pm at the Police Athletic League on 116-25 Guy R Brewer Blvd. Jamaica, N.Y.
Queens residents will have an opportunity to find jobs with local area businesses. Employers such as the New York Cosmos, Millennium Development, the New York Police Department, DeVry University, and others will offer both entry-level and advanced positions. Some employers will provide on-site interviews and fill job openings on the spot.
The Job Fair is wheelchair accessible and will have interpreters available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested constituents should dress suitably for a job interview.
