Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently joined with Troop 200 in Williston Park to congratulate John Conway, Christian Sokol, Christopher Mueller, Thomas Sokol, and Martin Conway for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
Senator Martins presented John, Christian, Christopher, Thomas, and Martin with legislative resolutions he sponsored, which were passed by the Senate, honoring them for achieving Scouting’s highest rank. With passage of the resolutions, their accomplishments will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
“Only a select few can meet the rigorous requirements needed to become an Eagle Scout; it demands serving the community, developing a wide variety of skills, demonstrating leadership, and countless hours of sheer hard work. John, Christian, Christopher, Thomas, and Martin have proven themselves worthy of scouting’s highest honor, and have now joined the ranks of scouting’s most elite; the Eagle Scouts. Congratulations to these five young men on a job well done,” said Senator Martins.
