“Earlier today, Nassau OTB officially abandoned its plan to put a VLT facility at the former Fortunoff’s Store in Westbury.
This is welcome news for all of us who have spent the last several weeks telling OTB that a VLT facility does not belong at this site. It is too close to our homes, our schools, and it would have a negative impact on the community.
I thank OTB for finally listening to the thousands of residents, community leaders, and elected officials who voiced their concerns and abandoning its plan.”
