Statement From Senator Jack M. Martins

Jack M. Martins

June 25, 2015

    ISSUE:
  • Gaming

"A proposal has been floated to exempt the siting of VLT facilities in Nassau County from local zoning requirements. I oppose the proposal and any effort to preempt local zoning oversight in Nassau County. I will continue to fight efforts to diminish or eliminate local control in our county. A local community's voice in shaping growth and development must be respected and preserved."
