Senator Serrano Offers Keynote Address at Hostos Community College Nursing Program's Pinning Ceremony

(Bronx, NY) - Senator Serrano served as the keynote speaker at Hostos Community College's pinning ceremony for the registered nurse (RN) and licensed practical nurse (LPN) program. The ceremony celebrated the 17 RNs and 15 LPNs who successfully passed their state nursing boards.

"I was proud to deliver the keynote address for the 2015 Hostos Community College pinning ceremony for their nursing program graduates," said Senator Serrano. "Programs like these provide educational opportunities for entry into health careers and serve as a resource for the promotion of health and wellness for the population of the South Bronx and surrounding communities. I want to extend my sincere congratulations to the nursing graduates and their families. Their hard work, determination and service toward their community is truly admirable."
